Job summary

• Knowledge of care pathways for lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymic malignancies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and clinical leadership for the lung cancer service.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary health care team to deliver a coordinated service.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care using advanced clinical judgment.
• Develop policies and review them after changes.
• Manage a caseload as the key worker for patients.
• Develop and revise assessment tools for appropriate referrals.
• Initiate, run and evaluate group support with other professionals.
