Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries Limited in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Lunch Cover Assistant for 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm. You will support the Early Years team during lunchtime, help with mealtimes and activities, and follow the "Where Children Shine" curriculum to nurture each child's development.

The role requires a caring, flexible Early Years professional with Level 2 EY qualification and safeguarding awareness. DBS funding and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 Early Years qualification is required or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children's development and emotional wellbeing.
• Understanding safeguarding and keeping children safe.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work across multiple sites within a one-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Support lunchtime sessions and create positive mealtime experiences.
• Provide a safe and enriching environment supporting development and wellbeing.
• Assist with mealtimes, sleep times and learning activities.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with the curriculum and safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain routines and high standards.

Education
