Job summary

Selwood Academy in Frome, Somerset, is seeking two Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants for term-time, Monday to Friday. The role involves setting up the dining area, supervising pupils during lunch, and helping to maintain order and safety during breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school would be helpful.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear the dining area daily.
• Direct supervision of pupils during lunch break.
• Ensure pupils are well behaved in all weather conditions.
• Address pupil conflicts in an appropriate manner and follow injury procedures.
• Provide First Aid as required.
• Attend termly meeting with line manager.
• Be willing to work extra time for events such as the Christmas meal.
