Lunchtime Supervisor

Grade: G2 NJC 2 - 4 Annual salary £4080

Contract: Permanent - 7.5 hours per week, term time only

Birchills Academy serves a multi-cultural community with the academy having a strong commitment to high standards and a caring Christian ethos, the above role will support the academy with the supervision of children before, during and after the midday meal.

Successful applicants will:-

  • Be caring, patient and understanding, friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour.
  • Have the confidence to reinforce school expectations, rules and to follow the Academy Behaviour Policy.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Be able to supervise the children both inside and on the playground encouraging sensible behaviour.
  • Be able to follow the school policies and procedures.
  • Understand the need for confidentiality.
  • Encourage good table manners and assist the children in whatever practical way is necessary.
