Job summary

Meoncross School is seeking a Midday Lunch Supervisor to ensure a safe, well-supervised lunchtime experience for pupils. You will support a caring environment, uphold school policies and help deliver a positive dining hall experience.

Working as part of a supportive school team, you will handle tills, assist with meals, and promote hygiene, safety and respectful behaviour during lunchtimes across term-time sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with pupils.
• Willingness to undertake training, with good personal hygiene and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring safety and positive behaviour.
• Operate tills accurately and provide friendly service to pupils and staff.
• Promote good table manners, hygiene and respectful dining hall conduct.
• Assist meal service, clear tables and maintain a welcoming dining area.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and waste reduction.
