Job summary

Pamphill CE First School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our team. This part-time, term-time role is 5.42 hours per week across 38 weeks per year with an actual salary of £3,144 per annum (Grade 1). Temporary until 31 August 2027, hours 12:15pm–1:20pm.

You will supervise lunch and playground, assist with serving lunches and help maintain safety and good behaviour during lunchtime. Closing date 9 October 2026; Interview 14 October 2026.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; suitability for a school support role will be considered.
• Ability to supervise children calmly and effectively during lunchtime.
• Willingness to work as part of a small, friendly school team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch time in the hall and on the playground.
• Assist with serving lunches and maintaining order during mealtimes.
• Support pupils' welfare and safety and model positive behaviour.
