Job summary

St Margaret's CE Primary School in Stoke Golding is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our caring school community. This role supports lunchtime routines, promotes safe play, and helps children enjoy healthy meals in a supportive environment.

The post is term-time only, 7.5 hours per week (11:30–13:00), with a focus on patience, calmness in emergencies, and excellent communication with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience and a calm approach help in managing lunchtime routines and conflicts.
• Ability to stay composed in emergencies and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lunchtime supervision from 11:30 to 13:00 during term time (7.5 hours per week).
• Encourage good behaviour and constructive table manners during meals.
• Supervise children in the playground or indoors in bad weather.
• Assist with handling minor injuries and maintaining clean eating areas.
