Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a School Lunchtime Supervisor to cover term-time days in Skegness. The role involves supervising pupils at lunch, encouraging healthy eating, and ensuring safety in the dining hall and playground.

Responsibilities include helping with dining area routines, supervising toilet facilities, and reporting any accidents. DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one, plus two references. This is a part-time ad hoc daytime position during school terms.

Qualifications

• To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
• Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils at mealtimes and encourage healthy eating.
• Help infants with food preparation tasks and model good table manners.
• Clean up spillages, clean tables and clear the dining area.
• Oversee children in the playground or during wet play and monitor safety.
• Lead group games and activities to ensure pupils feel safe and included.
• Supervise pupils using toilet facilities and ensure handwashing.
• Ensure pupils needing medical attention receive appropriate care and report accidents.

School Lunchtime Supervisor required in Skegness

Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)

Hours: between 10am and 2pm

We are looking for ad hoc Lunchtime supervisors to help cover days at our lovely primary school we are working with.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• To supervise pupils at mealtimes – encouraging children to eat healthily, helping infants to open packaging or cut up food, and providing some social and educational training, such as good table manners.
• To clean up spillages, cleaning tables and clearing the dining area.
• To oversee children in the playground or during wet play and monitor the safety and suitability of activities.
• To lead on group games and activities to ensure that all pupils feel safe, secure and included when on the playground.
• To supervise children using toilet facilities – giving permission to older children and accompanying infants, checking they wash and dry their hands.
• To make sure children who are ill or injured receive appropriate medical attention, and report any serious accidents.
• To carry out any such duties as may be reasonably requested.
