Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a School Lunchtime Supervisor for a primary school in Skegness. The role covers Monday to Friday during term time, from 10am to 2pm, supporting pupils at lunchtime and promoting safe, orderly play.

You will assist with opening packaging, encouraging healthy eating, supervising play areas, and reporting any concerns. DBS clearance and references are required; right to work in the UK must be demonstrable.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
• Provide two references covering the last 24 months.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils at mealtimes and promote healthy eating.
• Clean up spillages and tidy dining areas.
• Oversee playground and monitor safety during breaks.
• Lead group games to ensure inclusivity and safety.
• Supervise toilet facilities and assist infants.
• Report illnesses or injuries and seek medical attention.
• Perform any reasonable duties as requested.

School Lunchtime Supervisor required in Skegness

Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)

Hours: between 10am and 2pm

We are looking for ad hoc Lunchtime supervisors to help cover days at our lovely primary school we are working with.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• To supervise pupils at mealtimes - encouraging children to eat healthily, helping infants to open packaging or cut up food, and providing some social and educational training, such as good table manners.
• To clean up spillages, cleaning tables and clearing the dining area.
• To oversee children in the playground or during wet play and monitor the safety and suitability of activities.
• To lead on group games and activities to ensure that all pupils feel safe, secure and included when on the playground.
• To supervise children using toilet facilities – giving permission to older children and accompanying infants, checking they wash and dry their hands.
• To make sure children who are ill or injured receive appropriate medical attention, and report any serious accidents.
• To carry out any such duties as may be reasonably requested.

Requirements

• To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
• Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment.
