Job summary

Queen's Croft High School in Lichfield is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to care for pupils during the school lunch break. You will help supervise, ensure safety and model positive behaviour in a busy dining environment.

Responsibilities include escorting pupils to the dining room, supervising before, during and after meals, supporting table manners and playground patrols, maintaining hygiene in the dining area and collaborating with staff to support overall school activities.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising pupils during lunch breaks.
• Ability to provide basic first aid for minor injuries.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
• Good communication with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Escort pupils to and from dining room.
• Supervise pupils before, during and after meals.
• Oversee clean-up of debris from packed lunches.
• Provide basic first aid and summon help when needed.
• Promote appropriate behaviours.
• Assist with table manners and playground supervision.
• Maintain hygienic dining room equipment.
• Collaborate with staff on whole-school activities.
