Job summary

Bolton School is seeking a reliable Mid-day Supervisor to support a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils. The role involves supervising the dining hall, managing lunch queues and assisting with eating areas to promote good manners and calm, welcoming environments.

Additionally, supervision extends across the wider site—playground, classrooms and designated areas—ensuring pupils are in the right places and not in restricted zones.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial.
• Ability to supervise and manage pupil behaviour positively and fairly.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and help manage lunch queues.
• Monitor pupils across the wider school site, including playground and classrooms, during lunchtime.
• Ensure pupils stay in appropriate areas and do not enter restricted locations; supervise indoors during bad weather.
