Job summary

Golden Grove School in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a happy, thriving primary school team. The role is term-time only with fixed lunchtime hours, and a pro rata annual salary of £26,016 for 5 hours per week.

The post requires safeguarding awareness, EWC registration, and the right to work in the UK. Applicants will be responsible for supervising children during lunch, supporting safe play, and assisting with basic first aid.

Qualifications

• Must supervise lunchtime indoors or on the school grounds.
• DBS disclosure check required for this post.
• Right to work in the UK must be confirmed before applying.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at lunchtime, indoors or outdoors.
• Work with class teachers at handover times.
• Encourage healthy eating and good manners.
• Ensure children's safety and follow safeguarding guidelines.
• Actively supervise outdoor play and interact with children.
• Supervise children in classrooms on wet days.
• Provide basic first aid when necessary.
