Blenheim Schools is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for Hydesville Tower School in Walsall to help create a safe and enjoyable lunchtime for pupils. The role covers dining hall and playground supervision, encouraging positive behaviour and inclusivity, and supporting wellbeing during breaks.

The post is permanent, term-time only, 20 hours per week with a November 2026 start, and UK applicants only. Must be friendly, patient and have a good standard of education with safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient and caring approach to children's wellbeing.
• Excellent communication with students, staff and families.
• Ability to manage behaviour positively and fairly.
• Good safeguarding, welfare and health and safety awareness.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
• First Aid qualification is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Supervise students during lunchtime in dining hall and playground.
• Encourage positive behaviour, manners and independence.
• Organise safe movement between dining areas and playgrounds.
• Promote inclusive games and friendships during breaks.
• Respond calmly to incidents and report concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in dining and play areas.
• Follow safeguarding and school procedures with colleagues.
