Job summary

Mason Moor Primary School is seeking a friendly Lunch Time Assistant to work two hours each weekday. You will supervise children in the playground and help them eat their meals in the dining hall, while ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.

You will be part of a supportive team and help promote positive behaviour and social interaction during lunchtime, with safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Supervision of children during lunchtime and playtime.
• Support for inclusive lunchtime activities.
• DBS clearance and safeguarding checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of children in the playground, supporting positive behaviour, safety and inclusion
• Encouraging children to eat their meal in the dining hall
• Ensuring hygiene standards are met
