Job summary

Adelaide Primary School is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our busy team. You will supervise children during the midday break, assist in the dining hall, promote good eating habits and ensure safe play in the playground.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise activities that engage children.
• Team player with the ability to work with others to support pupils.
• First aid qualification or willingness to undertake training.
• Knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of children during the midday lunch break.
• Assist supervision in dining hall and supervise meals, promoting good eating habits.
• Plan and deliver games with children on the playground and encourage group play.
• Resolve behavioural issues following guidance from senior leaders.
• Care for sick children and provide basic first aid when required.
