Job summary

The Flying High Partnership is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team. You will supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall and on the playground, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for all children.

We value a proactive, professional role model who can work flexibly as part of the wider school team and follow safeguarding and health and safety policies throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Ability to supervise lunchtime activities and maintain safety.
• Good communication with pupils, staff, and parents as required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Help run lunchtime routines, manage queues and seating arrangements.
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions among pupils.
• Assist with basic first aid and report concerns to staff.
• Supervise indoors during wet weather as needed and follow school policies.
• Contribute to a calm, welcoming, and inclusive lunchtime environment.
