Job summary

The Arbours Primary Academy in Northampton is seeking a Senior Administrator to support daily lunchtime supervision and maintain a safe, positive environment for pupils.

You will work as part of a friendly team, implementing the school's behaviour policy, organising dining room entry, tidying the dining area, and safeguarding pupils throughout the lunch period.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to high standards of welfare, confidentiality, and teamwork within a committed staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime to ensure a safe, positive environment.
• Enforce the school's discipline/behaviour policy during the break.
• Respond to and report any incidents of misbehavior to the head-teacher.
• Assist with entering pupils into the dining room and supervise in the dining hall.
• Clean up spillages and tidy dining areas after meals.
• Monitor pupils to keep them within school grounds during lunch.
• Manage first aid incidents and health concerns as needed.
• Set up and clear away tables and chairs for lunchtime.
• Provide resources and organised games to keep children occupied.
• Liaise with teachers to share information and support continuity.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare of children.
