Job summary

James Brindley School, part of the Think Differently Education Trust, invites applications for a Midday Supervisor. You will help organise dinner queues and lead Young People safely from dining hall to the playground, ensuring wellbeing and respectful behaviour at lunchtime.

You will be working with secondary-age students in a Birmingham school, requiring emotional resilience and a calm, positive approach to behaviour and safety during breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with secondary-aged students in a school environment.
• Ability to maintain calm, positive behaviour and safety during lunch and transitions.
• Emotional resilience when working with challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime dining hall queues and transitions to the playground.
• Monitor wellbeing and safety of Young People during lunch and in outdoor areas.
• Support positive behaviour and create a calm lunchtime atmosphere.
