Qualifications

  • Experience supervising children or students is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with pupils and staff.
  • Comfortable working in a school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunch in dining hall, playground and around the academy.
  • Support safe, positive behaviour and appropriate conduct.
  • Assist with routines and ensure a calm lunchtime environment.

Job description

Rowena Academy are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our academy in November 2026 on a part time, temporary basis.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will actively supervise pupils during the lunch time period in the dining room, playground and throughout the academy premises.

Holiday Entitlement: minimum 35 days

(subject to pro rata if working part-time and dependent upon salary and continuous service) including statutory Bank Holidays.
