Job summary

Rowena Academy in England is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join us on a temporary, part-time basis from March 2027. You will work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, support pupils to access learning, and help manage the classroom to maintain a positive learning environment.

This position is with an OFSTED-rated outstanding school within the Delta Academies Trust, offering development opportunities and a supportive team dedicated to pupil progress and inclusion.

Job description

Rowena Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy in March 2027 on a temporary, part time basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
