Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils at a Middlesbrough secondary school. You will supervise students during lunchtime and social periods, helping to maintain a safe, calm environment and reinforce school rules.

Qualifications

Lunchtime Supervisor

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable, approachable and confident individual who enjoys working with young people and can help ensure students have a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during lunchtime and social periods
  • Ensure students follow school rules and expectations
  • Promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions
  • Monitor designated areas including dining halls, corridors and outdoor spaces
  • Respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns
  • Support the school's safeguarding procedures
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Help maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment

  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Confident and able to manage behaviour effectively
  • Calm, patient and approachable
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
