Join Our School as a Lunchtime Provision Lead

Are you passionate about making a positive impact during children's lunchtime? We are seeking a proactive, hardworking, and organized individual to lead our lunchtime provision at Ridgeway School.

About Us: Our supportive, vibrant, and collaborative staff team is dedicated to providing children with rich, memorable experiences and high-quality learning opportunities, both in the classroom and during playtimes and lunchtimes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, organize, and supervise a team of Lunchtime Staff, working closely with the OPAL Play Coordinator.
  2. Act as a positive role model, demonstrating high expectations for all Lunchtime Staff.
  3. Ensure adequate supervision of children in all areas of the school building and grounds.
  4. Communicate effectively and promptly with parents/carers regarding any lunchtime issues.
  5. Liaise effectively with other school team members, including the Senior Leadership Team.
Person Specification:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal sensitively and empathetically with children and staff.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Understanding and effective implementation of safeguarding procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary needs and allergens.
