Job summary

Overstone Park School is seeking caring Lunch and Playground Supervisors to join our team. The role runs 11:30am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week during 38 teaching weeks. The hourly rate is £12.71, with paid statutory holiday entitlement and a part-time, term-time contract.

You will help create a calm lunchtime environment, support pupils with their needs, and promote safe, inclusive play while developing pupils’ independence and social skills. Safeguarding training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or SEND would be beneficial.
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils safely in dining areas and playground.
• Assist with moving pupils to and from the dining area.
• Encourage good manners and respectful social interaction.
• Provide support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Promote safe, inclusive play and monitor play areas.
• Follow safeguarding arrangements and school policies.
