Job summary

Inmans Primary School in Hedon is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Play Leader to cover lunchtime provision during term time. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, safe play experiences for children aged 4–11 and work with staff to support wellbeing and development.

We require a Level 2 childcare qualification (or above) and a current First Aid qualification, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children aged 4–11.
• Good understanding of child development and children’s play.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of lunchtime activities for children.
• Ensure access to engaging, safe and stimulating play experiences.
• Maintain welfare, behaviour and safety during lunchtimes.
• Liaise with parents and senior leaders regarding lunchtime incidents as required.
• Maintain records and promote a positive, inclusive environment.
