Partou Roundhay Day Nursery & Pre-school in Leeds, West Yorkshire is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Cover Assistant to join our busy nursery team. The role is 15 hours per week, with a salary of £12.76 per hour, and supports EYFS learning and development during lunch breaks.

You will provide compassionate care, help create a safe, inclusive environment, and collaborate with families and colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Passion for early years education.
• Confidence in supporting children’s learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunchtime cover and support for 15 hours per week.
• Ensure children engage in stimulating activities aligned with EYFS and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Build strong partnerships with families and nursery colleagues during staff lunch breaks.
