Looking for a part-time role within a Day Nursery? We at Wendover Day Nursery are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to cover our lunchtime shifts. The role involves working 15 hours a week from 11am to 2pm daily, with a salary of up to £14 per hour, along with great benefits. There are also opportunities to work as bank staff as needed.

Wendover Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, located in Wendover within walking distance of the mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and easily accessible from Aylesbury. Our purpose-built nursery offers 101 places, a bespoke sensory room, a drama and art studio, and ample secure outdoor space with countryside views. We emphasize natural resources and a child-led 'free flow' design to enhance outdoor learning. We provide excellent training and support, outstanding facilities, and the chance to deliver exceptional care for children.

Requirements

As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and developmental stages.
  • Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support all children and team members in your room.
