Happy Days Nurseries in Yeovil is seeking a Lunch Cover Assistant to support children’s growth and learning during a 15-hour weekly lunchtime slot. You’ll help provide a safe, enriching environment and assist with lunch times, play, and learning activities.

The role focuses on inclusive practice, teamwork with staff, and safeguarding, with opportunities for professional growth across our nurseries.

Qualifications

• Experience with child development and learning.
• Able to commute to multiple nursery sites within a one-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Support lunchtime routines and learning activities.
• Ensure children are safe and follow policies and procedures during lunch and play.
• Assist staff with lunch, sleep times and learning activities.
