Job summary

Bearwood Primary School in Sindlesham is seeking a reliable and committed colleague to join our dedicated, supportive and hard-working team. You will be required to use positive therapeutic behaviour strategies to support children, helping them learn through play.

Successful applicants should be able to communicate well with children and be able to work as part of a team to make lunchtimes a valuable and enjoyable educational experience. Training will be provided as required.

Responsibilities

• Support children using positive behavioural strategies to aid learning through play.
• Assist during lunchtimes and supervise pupils to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Set up and tidy the hall and play equipment.
• Oversee pupils while they eat and clear away plates.
