Job summary

Pilton Bluecoat Academy is seeking a motivated Senior Catering Assistant to support the lunchtime service across both sites. You will help prepare and serve meals, supervise a small team and ensure meals are transported safely and served in line with dietary requirements.

The role is part-time, permanent/term-time with 16 hours per week and 38 weeks, with an annual salary of £13.47 per hour. Applicants must be organised, reliable and able to work well within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and supervise colleagues when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals.
• Coordinate food delivery between Pilton Bluecoat Academy sites.
• Supervise the mobile catering team delivering meals between sites.
• Ensure meals are correctly packed, labeled and held at safe temperatures for transport.
