Job summary

Acorn Early Years Foundation’s Cold Harbour Nursery in Bletchley is seeking a Part-Time Lunchtime Assistant to join a friendly team. You will help supervise children during mealtimes, supporting a calm, safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Open 7.30am–6.15pm, the setting emphasises outdoor learning and Forest School activities. The role offers 20 hours per week, with a focus on lunchtime coverage across term time and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years Qualification.
• Passionate and enthusiastic with outdoor learning interest.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Keen to progress career development.
• Friendly and reliable in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support children during lunchtime to create a calm, safe, and enjoyable mealtime experience.
• Assist with setting up and clearing away after meals and ensuring cleanliness.
• Collaborate with staff to help children settle and engage in positive mealtime routines.
