12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per week) - Term time only - Permanent

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our friendly team at Christ the King Catholic School. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the school community by helping to ensure that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience for all our pupils. We're looking for someone who loves working with children and brings a warm, friendly approach to the role. You'll be patient, reliable, and enjoy being part of a supportive team that shares our school's caring ethos. Good communication skills and a positive, encouraging manner with pupils will help make lunchtimes a happy and welcoming experience for everyone.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunch break
  • Encouraging good table manners and healthy eating habits
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's wellbeing
  • Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean and safe lunchtime environment
  • Working as part of a supportive team to ensure all children feel included and cared for

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and can help create a happy and safe atmosphere for all pupils during lunchtime.
