Job summary

Norton Road Primary School is hiring a lunchtime supervisor to supervise pupils during lunch, help clear away, and ensure orderly eating areas with safe conduct. The role includes monitoring pupils after lunch, indoors or outdoors, and responding to accidents per school guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Empathy with and understanding of children in the relevant age range.
• Ability to be assertive when necessary.
• Ability to follow procedures (health and safety, child protection, behaviour policy).

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch and manage queues.
• Assist and supervise clearing away and tidying eating areas; mop spills as required.
• Supervise pupils after lunch inside or outside, ensuring health, safety and security.
• Attend to accidents per school procedures and record all incidents.
