Job summary

Stanbridge Primary School in Downend, South Gloucestershire, invites applications for a Lunchbreak Supervisor. You will help ensure the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period and support outdoor play in all weather.

We seek enthusiastic, reliable team players with good communication who can act as a calm, caring link between pupils and staff. The role is permanent, term-time only, 7 hours 5 minutes per week, 11:50am–13:15pm.

Qualifications

  • Ensure the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils during lunchtime.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork and good communication with staff and pupils.
  • Commit to training and safeguarding practices and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunch and outdoor play times.
  • Support calm, safe interactions and implement school behaviour expectations.
  • Liaise between pupils, lunch staff and other school staff as needed.
