Job summary

Bright Horizons Harpenden is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for the Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool. The role involves planning and delivering engaging activities, ensuring a safe learning environment, and fostering a love of learning in children aged 0-5.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the EYFS
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/caregivers

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child to support development
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning
• Support children to reach milestones through play-based learning
