Why PlayStation?

PlayStation isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Today, we’re recognized as a global leader in entertainment producing The PlayStation family of products and services including PlayStation5, PlayStation4, PlayStationVR, PlayStationPlus, acclaimed PlayStation software titles from PlayStation Studios, and more.

PlayStation also strives to create an inclusive environment that empowers employees and embraces diversity. We welcome and encourage everyone who has a passion and curiosity for innovation, technology, and play to explore our open positions and join our growing global team.

The PlayStation brand falls under Sony Interactive Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation.

Role Overview

At PlayStation, our performance and success are rooted in delivering exceptional service and content to our players. We're on a mission to elevate how we make decisions — faster, smarter, and more player-centric.

We believe the key to scaling our impact lies in turning data into actionable insight and driving automation through an experimentation-led attitude. This approach allows us to deliver sustainable commercial growth while increasing the lifetime value of every player in the PlayStation ecosystem.

Although we're part of one of the world’s largest gaming companies, our teams operate with the agility of a startup — highly collaborative, fast-moving, and always innovating. It’s the perfect environment for someone who thrives on driving strategic growth across a complex matrix of teams and initiatives — a true opportunity for an ambitious, data-driven problem solver to make a tangible impact.

As the LTV Optimisation Planning Lead, you will be at the heart of our efforts to drive player-focused experimentation and strategic learning to increase lifetime value across the PlayStation ecosystem. Sitting within the PS Store team and part of the wider Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) organisation, you’ll focus on understanding player behaviours, uncovering growth opportunities, and applying key insights across both marketing and store experience layers.

You’ll work with the Manager of the LTV Optimisation team, based in our London office, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we build deeper, longer-lasting relationships with our players.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leverage data and collaborate with insight and commercial teams to ideate, validate, and build cases for customer-led activations and experimentation.
  • Design and manage end-to-end, world-class experiments that inform the next generation of customer decisioning and product design.
  • Lead key tactical experiments at both the franchise and platform level to drive incremental revenue across PS Store and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE).
  • Measure and communicate experiment outcomes and marketing campaign performance across multi-functional teams to drive insight-led decision-making.
  • Own the end-to-end commercial management of key strategic partners, working in collaboration with publisher account managers to shape commercial decisions from a player-first perspective.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent) in marketing technology, CRM, commercial strategy, data + analytics or customer loyalty roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong overall data literacy, with the ability to interpret and action insights effectively.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead complex projects end-to-end, with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success using data-driven experimentation to drive impact in digital or eCommerce environments.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, multi-functional settings with a strategic yet hands-on approach.
  • Proactive “growth hacker” attitude — curious, experimental, and driven to learn.
  • A collaborative teammate, equally confident leading initiatives and seeking input when needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business Management, Data and Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance or Maths.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and methodologies — a solid understanding of test design, measurement, and iteration is key.
  • Confident presentation skills and experience distilling complex data or strategy into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Background in tech or gaming is a bonus, but expertise in customer value optimisation is key.

Benefits:

  • Discretionary bonus opportunity
  • Hybrid Working (within Flexmodes)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • On Site Gym
  • Subsidised Café
  • Free soft drinks
  • On site bar
  • Access to cycle garage and showers
