Job description

Looking for an LSA/TA/Learning mentor/Healthcare assistant/Support worker to start ASAP!

If so, a special needs school in Chelmsford is looking for just that!

This school is built around supporting the needs of children with MLD (moderate learning difficulties).

The Role includes:
  1. Working 5 days a week within the school or college provision, supporting students with MLD in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to help improve engagement, interaction and raise attainment.
  2. Learning and developing your LSA skills.
  3. Working closely with parents to ensure what is carried out at school is continued at home.
  4. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children.

This is a full-time, temp to permanent opportunity (Mon - 8:30 - 4 / Tue - Thu - 8:30 - 3:30 / Fri - 8:30 - 3:15).

No school experience required - Graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers or personal experience accepted!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
