Role & duties

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a SEND provision in Colchester. The students have a variety of special needs, including ASD / SEMH / MLD / SLD / PMLD or identified as having a statement of an educational need. A desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary.

All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, regardless of individual needs. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, and the ability to quickly build strong relationships and rapport with individual children, is important.

This is a long-term, full-time position. We are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am–15:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
