Overview

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Havering. You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary! A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with a variety of special needs as part of a specialist school team.
  • Help create a positive learning environment and build strong relationships with individual children.
  • Work with teachers and other staff to support learning and wellbeing.
Qualifications
  • Certificates in Manual handling, Hoist, First Aid, Care would be admired.
Job Details

This school requires staff on a long term, full-time and permanent basis (5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm).
