A local further education college in Croydon seeks an LRC Assistant to support the Learning Resource Centre. The role includes IT support and customer service, along with maintaining operations and assisting users. Candidates must possess GCSEs in Maths and English, and strong IT skills are essential. We are currently seeking to appoint an organised and enthusiasticLRC Assistantto join ourLearning Resource Centre where you will be responsible for supporting the use, maintenance, and development of the Colleges LRC.
You will contribute to the general development and running of the LRC, including staffing the front desk, processing new stock, creating displays, maintaining computerised loan records and carrying out routine support services such as shelving, self-tidying and filing, and processing and recording information on to College systems.
You will also be responsible for providing IT support to both staff and students for various cross College IT systems and providing overall front line customer service support in the LRC including basic IT support and supervision of students.
