A regional health board located in Scotland is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist (Band 7) for their Frailty pathway team. In this role, you will provide effective care to patients, facilitate early discharges, and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. The position offers the opportunity to lead changes in practice and requires a focus on delivering patient-centred care. This is a pivotal role with responsibilities that extend to weekend services.
NHS Grampian is seeking a passionate, person‑centred, highly motivated clinician to join the Occupational Therapy team in the Frailty pathway at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The successful candidate will work with a well‑established, friendly team, providing safe and effective care for patients with Frailty, both within the Frailty pathway and across the hospital. The role involves facilitating early discharges, working as a core member of the MDT, and applying the home‑first principles in partnership with the wider professional groups.
This new service will operate from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., 7 days a week. The post holder will lead change, work collaboratively to embed new practices, and manage performance for a team of staff. The role will also be key to the weekend Frailty service when the post commences.
