Overview

Modern Apprentice (Nursery Assistant)

2 x posts - Little Acorns Day Nursery, Royal Cornhill Hospital

Band 2 – (£25,694 -£27,900)

37 hours per week – 2 year training contract

Little Acorns Day Nursery offers excellent opportunities for you to develop a career in childcare – you will be working with an innovative and motivated nursery team delivering a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting for NHS Grampian employees.

Responsibilities

It is hoped that the successful candidates will be able to commence employment in November/December 2025 and will participate in a variety of job-rotational placements providing an excellent range of work experience. This post is a 2 year training contract, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Social Services (Children & Young People) qualifications Level 2 (scqf level 6) and participate in other organisational personal development activities associated with the post. Applicants must possess the following qualifications at the time of application.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 National 5 Grades (or equivalent) at A, B or C in English, Maths and ICT (or similar) and two other subjects of your choice.
