  • Operate UV curing equipment and follow photolithography steps.
  • Conduct visual inspections to verify adhesion and quality.
  • Maintain process records and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams.

LPI Operative Flintshire

Location: Hawarden, Flintshire
Hours: Monday to Friday - days
Pay: GBP12.21 to GBP13.50 per hour depending on experience

The Role:


Join a leading electronics team in Hawarden, applying your expertise in the application of LPI solder mask to printed circuit boards (PCBs). You ll be responsible for carefully preparing, coating, and curing LPI masks using industry-standard methods like curtain coating or spray application. You ll operate in a modern, clean environment, ensuring precise and bubble-free finishes while adhering to strict health, safety, and quality standards. Your keen attention to detail will help safeguard delicate copper traces and guarantee reliable board performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare PCBs for LPI application (cleaning, inspection, and masking)
  • Apply LPI solder mask using spray, curtain, or screen techniques
  • Operate UV curing equipment and follow photolithography steps to set masks accurately
  • Conduct visual inspections to verify adhesion, registration, and finish quality
  • Maintain process records and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to uphold high standards
