Job description

Receivership Surveyor - London (flexible working/2days office + home)

£55,000 - £65,000 + benefits/commission/bonus/remote working flexibility

Fixed Charge Receiver, London

Our client is one of the leading names in the property industry with 100 years of history and an enviable client list. They are looking to recruit into their Receivership team, which works on all property types and values across the UK.

Outline of the role:
  1. Handling receivership appointments from banks and bridging lenders
  2. Dealing with the sale of properties via agents and auction houses. This includes liaising with solicitors and other professionals
  3. Inspecting properties
  4. Reporting to and advising clients regularly
  5. Managing a varied case load, including rent collection
  6. Overseeing maintenance of properties via third-party contractors ensuring that works are carried out in a cost-effective manner and to a professional standard
  7. Liaising with the accounts team and team administrator on the case accounts
The ideal person will have the following:
  1. RICS qualification
  2. Receivership experience is essential. A background in valuation, landlord and tenant or property management is also beneficial
  3. The ability to work with minimal supervision
  4. Excellent communication
  5. Good working knowledge of the usual office IT systems (Outlook/Word/Excel)
