Job description

IKEA Brighton are looking to welcome a Loyalty and Events Specialist to our exciting new store! In IKEA we call this a Store Loyalty Specialist.


Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and building lasting relationships? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Store Loyalty Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing loyalty programs that reward our valued customers, enhance their shopping experience, and drive customer retention. If you have a knack for understanding customer needs and a drive to innovate, we want to hear from you!


WHAT WE OFFER

  1. The Start Date of employment will be discussed at interview.
  2. Starting salary of £27,772.62 per annum, based on competence and experience.
  3. 39 Hours working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

  1. Ability to gain insights in customer needs through observing and performing data analysis and convert it to viable customer engagement opportunities.
  2. Follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and future performance.
  3. Proven ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed goals and deadlines.
  4. Confidence to express ideas and opinions effectively through clear communication to influence and build effective relationships across all levels.
  5. You have effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when faced with operational challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

  1. Work with the Store Commercial Activity Manager to ensure IKEA FAMILY and IKEA Business networks are integrated into the local commercial calendar.
  2. Ensure retail foundation is in place for IKEA FAMILY, including store thread, visibility of benefits, pricing, stock locations and accurate forecasting; working closely with the store Commercial Team to make it happen.
  3. Planning, coordinating and promoting customer events in the store through IKEA FAMILY to drive visitation, customer and loyalty engagement.
  4. Ensure that all the local communication channels are kept up to date to meet the needs of the customers.
  5. Collating and sharing loyalty data and KPIs within the Store Commercial Teams and key stakeholders across the store to enable the store to act on locally relevant loyalty opportunities.
  6. Allocating and coordinating local community budget to support unit neighbourhood engagement plans, including local PR and local causes.
  7. Contribute to the People Planet Positive agenda by engaging with IKEA FAMILY members about sustainability through events.

The training plan for each co-worker will include a period of training prior to the store opening where travel to another IKEA Store will be organised and fully covered by IKEA. This ensures that any travel will not create any personal expenses and we will create as much flexibility as possible to suit individual needs.
