Job Title: Low Observability Engineer
Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience
Location: Bristol (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 - 4 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity
The role joins the Bristol LO test team who support MBDA programmes throughout their product lifecycles. The majority of the team's work is establishing, progressing and delivering against the risk reduction and qualification strategies that will bring a product into service. We work very closely with related MBDA LO teams who undertake Radio Frequency (RF) signature and Infra-red (IR) signature assessments to ensure we're coherent across the patch.
This role involves overseeing and undertaking work package aspects for radar cross-section (RCS) hardware readiness to support product development and qualification, whilst additionally contributing to RCS performance evidence gathering. This will involve you:
