Overview

Low Level Embedded Software Engineer required to help develop complex software solutions as part of a deliverable product.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software with C; knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems is desirable.
• Assist with the verification of embedded systems (desirable).
• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including Systems Engineering, Electronics and Electrical, and Test and Validation.
• Awareness of deploying software on real-time Operating Systems and ARM-based processing platforms; appreciation of firmware and electronics design.

Qualifications

• Experience in the development of embedded software with C.
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems is desirable.
• Experience with verification of embedded systems is desirable.
• Excellent analytical and design ability, including review and critical analysis and generation of design documentation.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of standards such as Def-Stan 00-55 & DO178B /C and restricted coding standards such as MISRA would be advantageous.
