Our client, a renowned entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Low-level Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a contract basis.

Responsibilities
  • Develop embedded software using C/C++ languages for various defence-related systems.
  • Undertake software verification and validation to ensure robust and reliable performance.
  • Produce detailed design and technical documentation, including performing design reviews.
  • Integrate software on real-time operating systems and ARM-based processing platforms.
  • Collaborate with firmware and electronics design teams to ensure coherent system integration.
  • Travel infrequently to other UK sites, with expectation of minimal travel (quarterly at most).
