Job summary

Durlston Partners (London) is seeking C++ engineers to design, develop, and optimise a high-performance trading engine for crypto across CeFi and DeFi. You will implement low-latency components for microsecond-resolution TCA and smart routing, and contribute to net settlement and crypto options.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in C++ with a track record in high-performance, low-latency systems.
  • Solid understanding of concurrent programming, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Experience or strong interest in crypto markets, CeFi/DeFi trading, and related tooling is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize a high-performance trading engine in C++ for crypto across CeFi and DeFi.
  • Implement low-latency components for high-frequency execution, microsecond-resolution TCA, and smart routing.
  • Develop features for net settlement and crypto options; contribute to architecture and product decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, skilled team and a founder with deep experience in trading systems.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, reliability, and robust production monitoring in a fast-moving environment.
