Job summary

Galliford Try Group in the UK is seeking a Low Carbon Manager to support staff and act as a subject matter expert to the Board and SLT, guiding the northern Infrastructure BUs on the journey to net zero by 2045.

You will drive the low carbon agenda across assets and processes, enable data collection in carbon tools, report against targets, align with PAS 2080, and engage with policy makers, clients, and the supply chain to accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a Built Environment sector or carbon management experience.
• Strong collaborative working relationships and excellent team player.
• Comfortable delivering training and presenting both internally and externally.
• Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams to deliver Low Carbon Construction across assets and processes.
• Advise on low carbon technical solutions to design staff and consultants.
• Monitor data collection within carbon measurement tools to track reduction.
• Manage reporting to respond to internal targets and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain the Carbon Management Process aligned with PAS 2080.
• Engage with policy makers, industry bodies, clients and suppliers on carbon journeys.
