About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Low Carbon Manager to join Galliford Try, supporting our staff and advising the Board / Senior Leadership Teams for our northern Building Business Units. You will help drive our Journey to Net Zero by 2045.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support upskilling of staff on low carbon construction.
  2. Advise on low carbon technical solutions for design and delivery.
  3. Manage data collection and monitoring of carbon footprint.
  4. Report on internal targets and client requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain Carbon Management Processes aligned with PAS 2080.
  6. Engage with industry stakeholders on carbon reduction initiatives.
  7. Share lessons learned internally and externally to promote best practices.
Location & Travel

Based in the North, North West, or East Midlands with offices in Manchester, Leicester, Leeds & Newcastle. Flexibility in working arrangements with travel across multiple sites.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the Built Environment or carbon management.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Passionate about low carbon construction and Net Zero goals.
  • Proficient in IT tools including MS Office.
  • Ability to deliver training and presentations.
